Refund & Cancellation Policy
Policy draft — business confirmation and legal review required before adoption.
Project-specific terms
Software development and consulting are scoped engagements. Refund and cancellation terms depend on the signed project agreement and the work authorized and performed. This policy does not create a universal money-back promise or make every deposit automatically nonrefundable. Mandatory legal rights remain applicable.
Deposits and cancellation before work
A deposit may reserve capacity or fund initial work as specified in the agreement. If you cancel before work begins, contact us promptly. Eligibility for a refund depends on the agreed reservation terms, documented commitments, and any applicable legal requirements.
Cancellation after work begins
For cancellation after work has started, we review the work completed, accepted milestones, committed third-party costs, and the agreement. Any unused or refundable balance is determined under those terms. Payment for completed and authorized work may remain due.
Milestone and final payments
Each payment request identifies the project and installment. Concerns about a milestone should be raised with the project reference and the disputed deliverables. Whether a milestone payment can be refunded depends on the agreed acceptance and cancellation provisions.
Requesting a refund
Email info@tanoconsult.org with your name, project or payment reference, reason for the request, and relevant details. Do not send card numbers or CVV. Refund requests are reviewed against the agreement and transaction records. Approved refunds are issued through the original payment processor where supported.
Processing and disputes
Processor and bank processing times vary. We will communicate a refund decision and available processor information after review; no fixed processing or approval deadline is promised. For a disputed charge, contact us so we can investigate. This process does not remove statutory rights or payment-provider dispute rights.
Business confirmation required
Draft for review: confirm deposit treatment, cancellation charges, milestone acceptance, third-party cost treatment, and operational review procedures in each project agreement and with legal counsel before adopting this policy.
